This License Agreement explains how you may use Sonoros.
It covers the Sonoros macOS application distributed directly by Peachy Ventures Ltd and the free Sonoros iOS Remote app distributed through Apple’s App Store.
By downloading, installing or using Sonoros, you agree to this Agreement.
Who we are
Sonoros is developed by Peachy Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales with company number 13159578.
Registered address: 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
VAT number: GB410695313

The software
Sonoros is professional software for monitoring, managing and controlling compatible audio, RF and routing systems.
It is designed for use by trained operators in theatre, broadcast, live events, houses of worship, cruise ships and other production environments.
The iOS Remote app is a free companion app for use with Sonoros systems. It does not contain in-app purchases.
Your license
We grant you, or the organisation you represent, a limited, non-exclusive license to install and use Sonoros in accordance with this Agreement and any license you have purchased.
The free edition may be used within the free channel allowance published on our website.
Commercial functionality is enabled by a valid Sonoros License Dongle or another licensing method authorised by Peachy Ventures Ltd.
License terms
Commercial licenses are supplied for a fixed term, such as a monthly or yearly period.
They do not automatically renew.
When a license expires, you may keep using Sonoros within any free or remaining licensed limits, or purchase a new license term.
License Dongles
A License Dongle is a USB device supplied or authorised by us that stores your Sonoros license.
You may move a License Dongle between machines you control, provided Sonoros is only used within the limits of the license. Only one Sonoros server system may use a License Dongle at a time, and connected clients are subject to the limits of the relevant tier.
You must not copy, clone, modify, tamper with or attempt to bypass a License Dongle or licensing mechanism.
Lost, stolen or damaged License Dongles are not automatically replaced.
Updates
You may download and install future Sonoros updates regardless of whether you currently hold an active commercial license.
Updates may change, add or remove features. We aim to keep Sonoros reliable and useful, but we do not guarantee support for every older operating system, device, network setup or third-party product forever.
Technical requirements
You are responsible for checking that your Mac, iOS device, network, audio devices, firmware and connected equipment meet Sonoros’ published technical requirements and are configured correctly.
Customer content and local production data
Sonoros may process information locally on your own systems, including audio history, channel names, show files, routing data, chat messages, player profiles, headshots, notes, logs and configuration data.
We do not receive this information unless you choose to send it to us for support.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights, permissions and lawful basis needed to use, store, monitor, record, export or share any production information, audio, images, personal data or other content within Sonoros.
You retain ownership of your own show data and content.
What you may not do
Unless the law allows it, you must not:
• copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or redistribute Sonoros;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code;
• modify Sonoros or create derivative versions;
• remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices;
• bypass, disable or interfere with licensing or security features;
• use Sonoros in a way that breaks the law or infringes third-party rights.
Ownership
Sonoros is licensed, not sold.
Peachy Ventures Ltd and its licensors retain ownership of the software, documentation, branding and all related intellectual property.
Third-party equipment
Sonoros integrates with selected third-party devices and protocols.
Those devices remain the responsibility of their manufacturers and operators. We are not responsible for faults, losses or failures caused by third-party hardware, firmware, software, networks or services outside our control.
Support
Support is available through support@peachy.ventures and, where offered, WhatsApp.
Support is provided on a reasonable best-effort basis unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Privacy and diagnostics
Sonoros does not automatically send us telemetry, usage analytics, show data, routing data, audio or crash reports.
If you need support, you may choose to send us logs, screenshots or diagnostic information manually.
App Store terms for the iOS Remote app
This section applies only to the Sonoros iOS Remote app distributed through Apple’s App Store.
This Agreement is between you and Peachy Ventures Ltd, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the iOS Remote app or its content.
Your license to use the iOS Remote app is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as otherwise permitted by Apple’s App Store usage rules and Apple Media Services terms.
Peachy Ventures Ltd is responsible for support and maintenance for the iOS Remote app. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance.
If the iOS Remote app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple. Apple may refund any purchase price paid through the App Store, if applicable. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the iOS Remote app.
Peachy Ventures Ltd is responsible for addressing claims relating to the iOS Remote app, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, consumer protection claims and intellectual property infringement claims.
You confirm that you are not located in a country or region subject to applicable trade sanctions or embargoes that prohibit your use of the iOS Remote app, and that you are not on any applicable restricted-party list.
You must comply with any applicable third-party terms when using the iOS Remote app.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement for the iOS Remote app and may enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Export and sanctions
You must not use, export, re-export, supply or make Sonoros available in breach of applicable export control laws, trade sanctions or restricted-party rules.
Live production use
Sonoros is intended to assist trained operators. You remain responsible for testing your system and deciding whether it is suitable before relying on it during a rehearsal, performance, broadcast or event.
Warranty
We provide Sonoros with reasonable care and skill.
However, no software can be guaranteed to operate without interruption, error or incompatibility in every environment.
Nothing in this Agreement affects statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, production losses, show delays, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or losses caused by third-party equipment, networks, software or services.
For business users, our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant Sonoros license or product in the 12 months before the claim, unless the law does not allow that limitation.
Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded.
Termination
This Agreement ends automatically if you materially breach it.
If that happens, you must stop using any commercial Sonoros functionality for which you do not hold a valid license.
General
If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest will continue to apply.
You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without our written permission.
If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we give it up.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Where legally permitted, disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales. Consumers may have additional mandatory local rights.
