Sonoros is built for professional live production environments where reliability, privacy and offline operation matter. We deliberately collect as little personal information as possible.

The Sonoros application does not require user accounts, does not collect usage analytics, does not send telemetry, and does not continuously validate licenses online.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Peachy Ventures Ltd is the controller of the personal information we process.

What we collect

We collect only the information needed to sell Sonoros, support customers, keep business records and meet our legal obligations.

Purchases

Purchases are handled through Stripe. We may receive order information such as:

• your name;

• email address;

• billing address;

• company details, if provided;

• shipping address, if a License Dongle is required;

• VAT, tax or invoice information;

• the product or license purchased;

• payment status.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

Support

If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to send. This may include your name, contact details, company, support request, screenshots, configuration information or log files.

We only receive logs or diagnostic files if you send them to us manually.

Website

Our website is built using Framer and our checkout is handled by Stripe. These services may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, device information and checkout activity where needed to provide the website, keep it secure and process payments.

Sonoros application

The Sonoros application does not automatically send us usage data, audio, routing information, production files, show data, telemetry or crash reports.

Commercial licenses are stored on a USB License Dongle so Sonoros can be used without continuous internet access.

Sonoros may process production information locally on your own systems, such as show configuration, channel names, routing, audio monitoring, audio history, player information, headshots, notes, chat messages and logs. This information is not sent to Peachy Ventures unless you choose to send it to us for support.

iOS Remote app

The Sonoros iOS Remote app is distributed through Apple’s App Store. We do not use in-app purchases and we do not add analytics or telemetry to the app.

Apple may process information relating to App Store downloads, app updates and device diagnostics in accordance with Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. If your Apple settings allow diagnostic sharing with developers, Apple may provide us with crash or diagnostic information relating to the app.

Software update checks

The macOS version of Sonoros uses Sparkle to check whether software updates are available when update checking is enabled. These checks are used to provide updates, not to monitor how you use Sonoros.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• process and fulfil orders;

• provide invoices, receipts and tax records;

• ship License Dongles;

• provide support;

• respond to enquiries;

• maintain accurate business records;

• protect our legal rights;

• prevent fraud or misuse;

• comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Our usual lawful bases are contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw that consent.

Cookies

Framer and Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the website, security, checkout and payment processing to work.

We do not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking cookies or Google Analytics. If we add non-essential analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will update this policy and provide any consent controls required by law.

Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted providers:

• Stripe for payments, checkout, tax, invoices and receipts;

• Framer for website hosting and operation;

• Apple for distribution of the iOS Remote app through the App Store;

• Sparkle for macOS software update checking;

• WhatsApp where customers choose to contact us that way;

• email and business tools used to respond to support requests and manage orders.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use Sonoros application data for targeted advertising.

We do not make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on customers.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International customers

We sell Sonoros worldwide. Your information may be processed outside the UK where necessary to process payments, provide services, ship products or respond to support requests.

Where international transfers occur, we rely on appropriate safeguards or the arrangements provided by our service providers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No online service or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to keep the information we handle proportionate and limited.

How long we keep information

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed.

Order, invoice and tax records are kept for legal and accounting purposes. Support correspondence is kept while it remains useful for support, continuity and business records, unless we have a reason to keep it longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you are, you may have rights to:

• access the personal information we hold about you;

• correct inaccurate information;

• request deletion;

• object to certain processing;

• restrict processing;

• request a copy of your information;

• complain to a data protection authority.

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
